McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton has revealed he is "very humble" after learning he has passed former Lotus driver Jim Clark's record for consecutive races with a single team. The 2008 world champion added "loyalty's extremely important" and that he is now fully focused on this weekend's race in Shanghai, following his frustrating time in Malaysia.

Team principal Martin Whitmarsh has said that his McLaren team will be testing a number of new parts during Friday practice for the Chinese Grand Prix. Whitmarsh stated: "The development race is where this year's world championship will be won or lost."

Formula 1's new rules for 2011, including the introduction of moveable rear wings and the switch to Pirelli tyres, has helped make the sport more enjoyable for fans, according to Red Bull principal Christian Horner.
